isai is well known for its Linux skills, and not just any Linux skills, Linux skills that make business sense! We have a range of all-in-one boxes that provide solutions for specific situations, these are: While isai-in-a-box incorporates all top Linux server features into a single box aimed small to medium sized businesses, the other solution offerings provide a more dedicated server approach. The more dedicated server approach could be used in small to medium environments where a specific solution is required, or in larger companies where a single box providing a multitude of solutions will either be over-loaded or will not provide the required redundancy. To standardise, we have opted to make use of Debian and Ubuntu as our default flavour of Linux. This does not mean these are the only two flavours we will make use of however.... we are equally skilled in Red Hat, SuSe, Fedora and most other flavours of Linux, BSD and FreeBSD. The Solutions Explained further: Isai-in-a-box  This is a total solution Linux server containing a firewall, mail server, web server and proxy server. Each application comes with a web interface where required for your ease of use of the services provided, such as webmail access. This server will contain the same functions and features as its counterparts that are more dedicated, however in some cases these features may be scaled down. One feature that is however never scaled down is the firewall and WoADSL features – no matter what product you select, isai will never compromise on security.
By default, as with all our servers, this box also comes with our own dynamicDNS application to make sure the box is accessible even while on an Internet connection with a changing IP address. This product and the isaiSecure product are typically what are used most often with our WoADSL solution. Based on the fact that this product is a single server containing all of these services, this is not recommended for business larger than the small to medium sector. [Top] isaiSecure  isaiSecure is a Linux server containing only a firewall, and functions pertaining around firewalling. By default, as with all our servers, this box also comes with our own dynamicDNS application to make sure the box is accessible even while on an Internet connection with a changing IP address. This product and the isai-in-a-box product are typically what are used most often with our WoADSL solution.
[Top] isaiCommunicate  isaiCommunicate may or may not include the firewall feature depending on where in your network it will be placed. The isaiCommunicate server contains features for Voice integration and VoIP.
We make use of various technologies for our voice integration and VoIP solutions depending on the ultimate requirement. isaiCommunicate is able to integrate with almost any traditional telephone systems and other IP telephone systems as well as many other communication products such as PA systems, intercom systems and more. By default, as with all our servers, this box also comes with our own dynamicDNS application to make sure the box is accessible even while on an Internet connection with a changing IP address. [Top] isaiMessenger  The isaiMessenger Linux server also may or may not include the firewall feature depending on where in your network it is place. The core function of this server is to provide a messaging platform integrated with a web server. We have opted to put the two features together in a single solution as most times these go hand in hand. However, in larger installations, we may opt to split this into two different servers offering a mail server and web server separately.
