Surveillance and Security has increasingly become more an IT portfolio that anything else.  With the convergence of IT and Telephony, so too has Surveillance, Security, Access Control and Time & Attendance been added to the service requirements of the IT department.

Isai has picked up on that challenge and have added it to our portfolio as well.  We specialise in IP based surveillance and security products, because IP is where we are strongest.

We have a range of products that make part of our solutions and have selected a range of brands which are synonymous in their own field.  Of course new products always get added to the mix, and from time to time some unfortunately reserve to get removed from our list.
The range of solutions we offer in this segment include:

Video Surveillance

IP Based video surveillance is where the world is moving – it makes for far better integration, features and remote viewing options.  The IP cameras themselves have become on par with traditional analogue cameras that have been used in the past, and this even in low light environments.
IP cameras have superior mechanisms to interface with other hardware and software applications.  Full duplex audio built into the cameras are also available, and cameras with built in wireless access provide great benefits.  It is even possible to view the stream directly from your camera on your cellphone without additional software.
Surveillance recording options have also grown in leaps and bounds, with phenomenal growths in features and functions.

Access Control

Access Control has only recently come into the IP based arena, but it certainly has come in with a bang.  The product ranges and feature-sets that have developed with this equipment are mind-blowing.
You no longer need to have separate control stations for your access control terminals, and you can now have a single point where you can not only update your records, but you can remotely update devices.  Your access control devices can now be integrated not only with other hardware devices, but with more software, and different devices that ever before.  And probably the greatest feature, you can install this equipment on wireless access points, making that device on the other side of your property a reality, because you no longer need to run a kilometre of cable.

Time & Attendance

When Time & Attendance products stepped into the IP arena it was a huge step.  Some said it was too difficult to get Time & Attendance hardware onto an IP platform.  It has been done, and has been very successful for a few years already, and yet many still do not know it is available – primarily because most of the companies that provide Time & Attendance solutions were not IT based companies.
The IP based hardware is simply revolutionary, and the software is in many parts the same, just with added features.  The cost of installing a Time & Attendance system has also been greatly reduced as you now only need a device in your remote offices, and it will provide all its data over your WAN or VPN (See WoADSL).  Management of the system has become easier, and replacing hardware has become a breeze.  You also have the huge benefit, as with IP Based Access control, that you can run the equipment over your existing Ethernet (network) infrastructure, even a wireless link.
